In celebration of William & Mary’s Year of the Environment, Common Ground convenes leading voices in science, policy and conservation for an evening of dialogue and discovery in Washington, D.C.
Hosted by the W&M Washington Center, this event brings together experts from W&M's Batten School of Coastal & Marine Sciences and Virginia Institute of Marine Science (VIMS) and the Institute for Integrative Conservation (IIC) to explore how interdisciplinary leadership can advance environmental resilience, shape effective governance and translate innovative research into meaningful action. They will reflect on how the field’s evolving challenges and opportunities are shaping new career pathways and preparing the next generation of leaders in conservation and sustainability.
