Grab some food and join us for this virtual lunch & learn program as we tackle this thought-provoking question:
What does it mean to be Latino/a/e? The discussion will examine how factors such as language, immigration and
cultural identity intersect and evolve. Adrian Bravo, associate professor of psychological sciences at W&M, will moderate a panel with:
• Carlos Rivera Santana, assistant professor of Hispanic studies
• Hanna Pazo Vargas ’27, current student
• Luis Navas ’82, P ’13, member of the Familia Advisory Board
Hosted by Familia, the W&M Alumni Association’s group for people connected to or supportive of Hispanic,
Latino/a/e and Indigenous/native heritages, this event is a chance to connect with other Familia members and
deepen your understanding of Latino culture.
