Join Familia at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts
Monday, AUG. 18 | 5:30 P.M.
You’re invited to a special evening celebrating Latin American art and culture at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts (VMFA) in Richmond.
Together, we’ll explore the powerful exhibition “Frida: Beyond the Myth,” followed by a private conversation with Sarah Powers, the exhibition’s curator, and Carlos Rivera Santana, assistant professor of Hispanic studies at William & Mary. This engaging dialogue will highlight the significance of Latin American art and Frida Kahlo’s lasting impact on culture, identity and resistance.
Space is limited — reserve your spot and be part of this inspiring evening with Familia! Tickets cost $15 ($10 for Young Guarde, alumni and current students).
All are welcome to attend this event. We encourage you to invite a friend or family member!
