We are thrilled to celebrate National Arab American Heritage Month this year with a virtual event featuring speaker, author and fellow William & Mary graduate Nadim Bawalsa ’07, a luminary in the field of modern Palestinian history. Our Asian-Pacific Islander-Middle Eastern (APIM) Alumni Board invites you to join us via Zoom to learn about Bawalsa’s new book and to engage in the celebration of Arab American heritage.
Bawalsa is a historian of modern Palestine. His book “Transnational Palestine: Migration and the Right of Return before 1948” received the 2023 Nikki Keddie Book Award from the Middle East Studies Association and the 2023 Palestine Book Award.
